Blown Water Colour Paintings

 

First and second attempts at blown water colour paintings.

 

I saw some videos on youtube on blowing paint, well actually, alcohol ink, and I thought it looked so cool!. Now not having alcohol ink at hand and finding out that it is a little costly (I'm a cheap skate at the moment) I decided to give water colours a go. They didn't come out as cool as the alcohol ink and having a cold and not much puff might have influenced the final product too, but it was fun and I'm glad I got off my butt and tried something new. Maybe if I have a bit of puff this afternoon I might try again and see what other colours look like.

 

I found a little bit of puff and tried out some asking fluid and the blow technique. Thought I'd better use up the colours I already had on the go...I hate to waste.
